In Memory of Christopher

The CD44 Foundation was established in memory of my Christopher Diozzi, who was an exceptional student-athlete throughout both high school and college. We tragically lost Christopher in August 2016 while he was on Cape Cod. In his honor, we created the foundation to celebrate his legacy by supporting student-athletes who demonstrate dedication, perseverance, leadership, and excellence both on the field and in the classroom. Our annual fundraiser, the Christopher Diozzi Open in its 9th year, is held each year at Dennis Highlands Golf Club in Dennis, Massachusetts, allows us to continue this mission and provide meaningful scholarship opportunities to deserving students.

Each year, our foundation awards scholarships to deserving student-athletes who are continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level. These scholarships are available to graduating student-athletes pursuing higher education whose parent is currently serving in the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard) or is a first responder, including police officers, firefighters, or emergency medical technicians (EMTs).
